Who We Are
Our Values
Our Mission
We exist to support the qualification of Displaced Doctors to practice in the UK, provide a warm welcome on behalf of the UK medical profession, and increase medical students and doctors’ engagement with issues affecting Displaced Communities.
Our History
We were founded in 2019 by Jonny and Molly, at the time, two second year Medical Students at The University of Nottingham, and now fully qualified Doctors entering their speciality training. Since then, we have supported Displaced Doctors through their UK qualifications to practice Medicine, predominantly through English Language teaching sessions, thereby simultaneously providing the NHS with highly qualified and talented professionals. We have expanded to The Universities of Leeds, Bristol and Oxford, with the hope of future expansion to all UK Medical Schools.
Our Team
Our team comprises both UK Medical Students and recently qualified Doctors, and we currently operate in Nottingham, Leeds, Bristol and Oxford.
“I will be forever grateful for The Phoenix Project and would highly recommend it to any IMG (International Medical Graduate) considering Medical Practice in the UK. Additionally, I have expressed my interest to collaborate with them in the future as a way to give back to this great organisation.”
