I hold a deep-seated belief that displaced people have the same right to a fulfilled life as those who are not facing persecution in their country of origin. The Phoenix Project has allowed me to convert these values into making a visible difference in the lives of those we support. The doctors and healthcare professionals we work with are some of the most inspirational and hard-working people that I have met and I consider it an honour to be involved in their journey to qualification with the NHS.

Tabi – President of the Leeds Branch

The best part of being involved in TTP is the people I have had the opportunity to meet. The displaced doctors who come to us are some of the most interesting people I’ve ever spoken to and I am constantly inspired by their kindness and motivation. I also love working with people who are willing to devote a huge amount of time to do right by their communities, making TPP an incredible project to be a part of.

Emily – President of the Nottingham Branch

It is a privilege to be able to work with all the talented people in The Phoenix Project to achieve such an important mission, which I thoroughly enjoy being a part of. The Phoenix Project is a fantastic charity to learn and develop within, for participants and students alike.

Amelia – President of the Bristol Branch

“The Phoenix Project has enabled me to meet and work with displaced healthcare professionals from across the world, who are seeking an opportunity to work within the NHS. I have learnt from them so much more than I could have imagined and I have developed a new awareness of their cultures and challenges. My personal understanding of grammar and linguistics has also improved, as I find myself answering questions that I had never even considered. An overall amazing opportunity”

Eden – Leeds Senior Teaching Team

“The displaced doctors I have taught through TPP are hardworking and a pleasure to teach. Their gratitude for our help is humbling. Without TPP, these doctors would have to pay unreasonable fees to receive assistance to pass their English exams. It is a privilege to work with them!”
